A new linearized methodic of effectiveness estimation of a seismic network (group) for location of volcanic tremor source is described. It is developed for frequency-slowness and phase correlation methods of source location. This supplies a possibility of planning new (more effective) networks for more accurate location of such sources. The methodic was approved by the example of temporal seismic networks at Big Fissure Tolbachik eruption and Goreliy volcano (Kamchatka) for the case of determination of source allocation in plain. As a result of changes of seismometers allocation inside one of network its effectiveness was appoximately enсreased by two times. The proposed account is not need for Monte-Karlo modeling, it is associated with processing for formulae which have clear geometrical meaning. This is gradually simplify procedure for seismometers allocation in a network.
