The paper provides the results from modeling of stressed-deformed conditions of Nizhnekansky granitoid massif (NKM) (the Yenisey Ridge) being considered as a suitable zone for disposal of high-level radioactive wastes (HLRW). For calculations the authors used a multicomponent structural and tectonic model. Structural blocks with high concentration of stress may pose a real hazard due to the possible tectonic destruction during an environmental hazard of HLRW that may last over 100000 years. Analysis methods for geologic-geophysical data, paleotectonic reconstruction of stress, and tectonophysics modeling provide advanced opportunities for prediction of stability of a geological environment for years. This allows to estimate more precisely the location of possible destruction zones of rock massifs and to choose a zone of a least danger for the HLRW underground disposal.
Keywords: Niznekansky rock massif, high-level radioactive waste, prediction of stress-deformed condition.
