The paper presents the results from the first estimation of earthquake resistance using instrumentations in Kaliningrad region. The authors studied seismic background around the building and evaluated vulnerability and amplification factor of both the whole building and its single parts. The research revealed a vulnerability of the building. A historical background was used. Geophysical methods proved the historical data on the building alteration. The results can be used in study of the significant part of residential areas in Kaliningrad.

Keywords: vulnerability, Nakamura method, strain, resonance.
