The article describes folds with steep limbs which disappear at a depth of 30 to 40 km. It is supposed that their formation is related to slipping of the layered complex which slips down the slope during the immersion of basin area located near normal faults. These folds could be considered tectonic gravitational formations.

Keywords: surface folds, Cenozoic, sedimentary basins, slump structures, Primorye.
